Chacra del Agua is a private initiative with the purpose to preserve and display the remains of the “paranaense” rainforest.
We are located 32 kms out of Saltos de Mocona, at the gate of the Yaboti Reservation protected by the UNESCO.
With this purpose in mind, we have created a 18ha Natural Refuge that is the main stage of our tracks, the kayak rides across Paraiso stream, astonishing birdwatching, and accommodation in cabanas located in the middle of the rainforest.
We are also active participants in environmental and social projects being developed as part as our commitment to preserve the area around us.

We offer accommodation in cabanas for a smaller groups of travellers.
The cabanas have been built using native wood following the traditional style of Misiones. We have combined tradition with modern installations.
The cabanas are 1m above the floor and are separated by 40m.

Chacra del Agua is a unique scenery for bird watching and photography. From all the cabanas, paths and meadows you will be able to enjoy the biodiversity of the paranaense rainforest.

Chacra del Agua is located on the North-East of Argentina, in the Misiones province, 300kms away from the Iguazu waterfalls, 260kms away from Posadas, and 1,200 kms away from Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo.

The reception to Chacra del Agua is located at km 32 in Ruta no 2, between the towns El Soberbio and Saltos del Moconá Park.
Our kayak rides are available to people from all ages.
We start our activity with a small lesson, to learn how to row and enjoy our sit-on-top kayaks.
Our kayaks are extremely safe and perfect for every individual, even for the ones who are unable to swim.
There will always be an instructor from the Chacra joining you in the ride, guiding the group down the Paradiso stream towards the Uruguay river and the brasilian Park Stadual do Turvo.
Our instructor is also a professional photographer and he will be capturing photos along the ride to include in a report that will be sent to you by email a few days after the visit.
